Synopsis

Women are turning “other,” as the Barbie Virus rips through America, leaving its victims blank – sexless, emotionless, colorless. Amidst the backdrop of a present-day college town, Girl, Lady and Woman navigate the ups and downs of modern womanhood, in a world that seems increasingly violent towards females.  Such violence comes to a head, when Girl is attacked on a night out.  The three lives intersect,  and the women’s worlds turn upside down, as the virus begins to take hold of them as well.  Salamander is about being a woman, and being in pain.  It is about becoming a monster, and losing control.
